성경말씀: 사도행전 12:1-12

1 이 무렵, 헤롯 아그립바 왕은 교회에 속한 몇 사람을 박해하려는 계획을 가지고 그들을 사로잡았습니다.
2 그는 요한의 형제 야고보를 칼로 죽였습니다.
3 헤롯은 유대인들이 이 일로 기뻐하는 것을 보고, 베드로마저 잡으려 했습니다. 그 때는 무교절 기간이었습니다.
4 헤롯은 베드로를 붙잡아 감옥에 넣고, 군인 네 명씩 네 패에게 맡아 지키게 했습니다. 유월절이 지나면 베드로를 끌어 내어 사람들 앞에서 재판할 작정이었습니다.
5 그래서 베드로는 감옥에 갇혔고, 교회는 베드로를 위해 하나님께 열심히 기도했습니다.
6 헤롯이 베드로를 끌어 내려던 전날 밤이었습니다. 베드로는 두 군인 사이에서 사슬에 묶인 채 잠들어 있었고, 문 앞에는 경비병이 문을 지키고 있었습니다.
7 갑자기 주님의 천사가 나타나고, 환한 빛이 감옥을 비추었습니다. 천사가 베드로의 옆구리를 쳐서 깨우며 “어서 일어나라”고 말했습니다. 그 순간, 베드로의 손목에 매여 있던 사슬이 풀렸습니다.
8 천사가 베드로에게 “허리끈을 매고, 신을 신어라”라고 말하여, 베드로는 천사가 시키는 대로 했습니다. 천사는 다시, “겉옷을 입고 나를 따라오너라”라고 말했습니다.
9 베드로는 천사를 따라 밖으로 나가면서도 천사가 하는 일이 꿈인지 생시인지를 알지 못했습니다. 베드로는 자기가 환상을 보고 있다고 생각했습니다.
10 천사와 베드로가 첫 번째 경비병과 두 번째 경비병을 지나 성으로 통하는 철문에 이르자, 철문이 저절로 열렸습니다. 그들이 문을 나와 거리를 한 구역 걸을 때에, 갑자기 천사는 베드로를 떠나 어디론가 사라져 버렸습니다.
11 그제서야 비로소 베드로는 정신이 들어 혼잣말로 중얼거렸습니다. “이제야 나는 이 모든 것이 실제라는 것을 알겠다. 주님께서 천사를 보내어, 나를 헤롯의 손에서, 그리고 유대인들의 모든 계략에서 구하셨다.”
12 이런 사실을 깨닫고서, 베드로는 마가라고도 하는 요한의 어머니 마리아의 집으로 갔습니다. 그 곳에는 많은 사람이 모여서 기도하고 있었습니다.

1 About that time King Herod Agrippa① began to persecute some believers in the church. / ①Greek Herod the king. He was the nephew of Herod Antipas and a grandson of Herod the Great
2 He had the apostle James ① killed with a sword. / ①John's brother
3 When Herod saw how much this pleased the Jewish people, he also arrested Peter. (This took place during the Passover celebration.)
4 Then he imprisoned him, placing him under the guard of four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring Peter out for public trial after the Passover.
5 But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him.
6 The night before Peter was to be placed on trial, he was asleep, fastened with two chains between two soldiers. Others stood guard at the prison gate.
7 Suddenly, there was a bright light in the cell, and an angel of the Lord stood before Peter. The angel struck him on the side to awaken him and said, "Quick! Get up!" And the chains fell off his wrists.
8 Then the angel told him, "Get dressed and put on your sandals." And he did. "Now put on your coat and follow me," the angel ordered.
9 So Peter left the cell, following the angel. But all the time he thought it was a vision. He didn't realize it was actually happening.
10 They passed the first and second guard posts and came to the iron gate leading to the city, and this opened for them all by itself. So they passed through and started walking down the street, and then the angel suddenly left him.
11 Peter finally came to his senses. "It's really true!" he said. "The Lord has sent his angel and saved me from Herod and from what the Jewish leaders had planned to do to me!"
12 When he realized this, he went to the home of Mary, the mother of John Mark, where many were gathered for prayer.

성경말씀: 요한복음 20:19-23

19 같은 날 저녁에, 제자들이 함께 모여 있었습니다. 제자들은 유대인들이 두려워 문을 꼭 잠갔습니다. 그 곳에 예수님께서 오셔서 그들 가운데 서서 말씀하셨습니다. “너희에게 평강이 있을지어다!”
20 이 말씀을 하시고는 제자들에게 손과 옆구리를 보이셨습니다. 제자들은 주님을 보자 무척 기뻐했습니다.
21 다시, 예수님께서는 “너희에게 평강이 있을지어다! 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것같이 나도 너희를 보낸다”라고 말씀하셨습니다.
22 이 말씀을 하시고, 그들을 향해 숨을 내쉬며 말씀하셨습니다. “성령을 받아라.
23 너희가 누구의 죄든지 용서하면, 그 죄는 사함을 받을 것이다. 너희가 누구의 죄든지 용서하지 않으면, 그 죄는 사함을 받지 못할 것이다.”

19 That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! "Peace be with you," he said. 
20 As he spoke, he showed them the wounds in his hands and his side. They were filled with joy when they saw the Lord!
21 Again he said, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you."
22 Then he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit.
23 If you forgive anyone's sins, they are forgiven. If you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."

성경말씀: 요한복음 10:7-15

7 예수님께서 다시 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 너희에게 진리를 말한다. 나는 양들의 문이다.
8 나보다 앞에 온 사람들은 다 도둑이며, 강도들이다. 양들은 그 사람들의 말을 듣지 않는다.
9 나는 문이다. 나를 통해 들어가는 사람은 구원을 얻을 것이다. 그 사람은 들어가기도 하고 나가기도 하며, 또 좋은 목초를 발견하기도 할 것이다.
10 도둑은 훔치고, 죽이고, 파괴하기 위한 목적으로 온다. 그러나 나는 양들이 생명을 더욱 풍성히 얻게 하기 위해 왔다.
11 나는 선한 목자다. 선한 목자는 양을 위하여 자기 목숨을 내놓는다.
12 품삯을 받고 양을 돌보는 사람은 사실 목자가 아니며, 양도 자기 양이 아니다. 그 사람은 늑대가 오는 것을 보면, 양만 남겨 두고 멀리 도망가 버린다. 그러면 늑대는 양을 공격하여 양들을 흩트린다.
13 그 사람은 단지 품삯을 받고 양을 치는 사람이기 때문에 그 양을 돌보지 않는다.”
14 “나는 선한 목자다. 나도 내 양을 알고, 내 양도 나를 알아본다.
15 아버지께서 나를 아시듯이 나도 아버지를 안다. 그리고 나는 양을 위하여 목숨을 내놓는다."

7 Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep.
8 All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.
9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
11 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
12 The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it.
13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.
14 "I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me--
15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father--and I lay down my life for the sheep."

성경말씀: 요한복음 3:1-8

1 바리새인들 중에 니고데모라는 사람이 있었습니다. 그는 유대 공의회 의원 중 한 사람이었습니다.
2 어느 날 밤, 니고데모가 예수님을 찾아왔습니다. 그는 “선생님, 우리는 당신이 하나님께로부터 오신 선생님이라는 것을 압니다. 하나님께서 함께하시지 않는다면, 아무도 선생님께서 하셨던 일들을 행할 수 없습니다”라고 말했습니다.
3 예수님께서 대답하셨습니다. “내가 너에게 진리를 말한다. 누구든지 다시 태어나지 않으면, 하나님의 나라를 볼 수 없다.”
4 니고데모가 예수님께 물었습니다. “사람이 이미 나이가 많아 어른이 되었는데, 어떻게 다시 태어날 수 있겠습니까? 어머니의 태 안에 다시 들어가 두 번씩이나 태어날 수 있겠습니까?”
5 예수님께서는 이렇게 대답하셨습니다. “내가 너에게 진리를 말한다. 누구든지 물과 성령으로 태어나지 않는다면, 그 사람은 하나님 나라에 들어갈 수 없다.
6 사람이 육체적으로는 그의 부모로부터 태어나지만, 영적으로는 성령으로부터 태어난다.
7 내가 너에게 ‘다시 태어나야 한다’라고 말한 것에 너무 놀라지 마라.
8 바람은 제 맘대로 부는 법이다. 너는 바람 부는 소리는 듣지만, 그 바람이 어디서부터 와서 어디로 가는지는 알지 못한다. 성령으로 다시 태어나는 모든 사람도 이와 같다.”

1 There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee.
2 After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. "Rabbi," he said, "we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you."
3 Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, unless you are born again①, you cannot see the Kingdom of God." / ①Or born from above; also in 3.7
4 "What do you mean?" exclaimed Nicodemus. "How can an old man go back into his mother's womb and be born again?"
5 Jesus replied, "I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.
6 Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.
7 So don't be surprised when I say, `You must be born again.'
8 The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can't tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can't explain how people are born of the Spirit."

성경말씀: 마가복음 16:1-8

1 안식일이 지나고, 막달라 마리아와 야고보의 어머니 마리아와 살로메가, 예수님께 바르려고 향료를 샀습니다.
2 일 주일이 시작되는 첫째 날 매우 이른 시간, 해가 뜰 무렵에 무덤으로 갔습니다.
3 이들은 서로 말했습니다. “입구에 있는 커다란 돌을 누가 굴려 주겠는가?”
4 그런데 눈을 들어 보니, 커다란 돌이 이미 옮겨져 있었습니다.
5 무덤에 들어가자, 하얀 옷을 입은 한 젊은 사람이 오른쪽에 앉아 있었습니다. 여자들은 매우 무서웠습니다.
6 그 사람이 말했습니다. “놀라지 마십시오. 여러분들은 십자가에서 돌아가신 나사렛 예수님을 찾고 있군요. 그분은 다시 살아나셨습니다. 여기 계시지 않습니다. 보십시오. 여기가 예수님을 모셨던 곳입니다.
7 자, 이제 가서 제자들과 베드로에게 말하십시오. 말씀하신 대로 예수님께서 당신들보다 먼저 갈릴리에 가실 것입니다”
8 그들은 무덤에서 나와 도망쳤습니다. 그것은 무서움과 공포가 그들을 사로잡았기 때문입니다. 그들은 두려워서 아무에게도 말하지 않았습니다.

1 Saturday evening, when the Sabbath ended, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome went out and purchased burial spices so they could anoint Jesus' body.
2 Very early on Sunday morning①, just at sunrise, they went to the tomb. / ①Greek on the first day of the week
3 On the way they were asking each other, "Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?"
4 But as they arrived, they looked up and saw that the stone, which was very large, had already been rolled aside.
5 When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a white robe sitting on the right side. The women were shocked,
6 but the angel said, "Don't be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn't here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body.
7 Now go and tell his disciples, including Peter, that Jesus is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there, just as he told you before he died."
8 The women fled from the tomb, trembling and bewildered, and they said nothing to anyone because they were too frightened.
